Asbestos survey and analysis
アスベストは、安価でありながら耐火性、断熱性、防音性、絶縁性などに優れており、建築材料として多くの建物（ビル、学校・病院、工場、一般住宅など）に大量に使用されてきました。
しかし、健康被害を理由に使用の規制が強化され、最終的にはアスベストの使用は全面禁止となりました。規制前の建材が使用されている建物の解体が増加する時期を迎え、それに伴って解体建物の事前調査等のアスベストに関する規制はさらに厳格化されており、建物の取り壊しや解体前にアスベストが建材などに含まれるかどうかを、所有者や委託業者は必ず検査しなければなりません。また、令和5年10月からは有識者でなければ事前調査や分析調査ができなくなります。

Asbestos survey and analysis process
Preliminary investigation
For building materials and sprayed materials, we conduct written surveys using architectural drawings etc., visually inspect the on-site usage conditions, and select survey locations.
Sampling
Be careful of dust scattering when collecting samples.
Exterior wall/finishing coating material: Golf ball size
Spraying material/insulation material: fist-sized
Molding plate: Approximately 5 cm square

Pre-inspection of buildings
Our staff will collect samples to check whether building materials in buildings scheduled for demolition contain asbestos. For details, please contact us by phone or through our inquiry form. We will inform you of our availability and fees.
Harvesting
The collection area is protected by surrounding it with a plastic bag, and the collected coating material is then sealed directly inside the plastic bag.
湿潤化
Depending on the coating material, the top coat may repel water. The area that has been scraped off with a scraper is not wet, so add more moisture as necessary.
Solidification of the collection mark
We spray solidifying materials and apply adhesives.
It is also common to spray a similar color to the paint to serve as a simple repair.

Asbestos analysis and investigation
We will determine whether or not building material samples collected by the customer contain asbestos. Qualified personnel will perform the determination using a microscope or the JIS A 1481-1 polarizing microscope method.
We can also have our specialized staff take samples of building materials on your behalf. (Please note that we cannot accept requests for on-site sampling.)
The amount of building material sample required for analysis should be approximately 10 x 10 cm for regular building materials, and approximately the size of two ping-pong balls for irregular building materials, and should be sent in a double zip-lock bag.
